Choosing a Floor Plan With Your Pet

Studio and 1 Bedroom Apartments

Studio apartments at Tapestry offer 571 square feet, while 1-bedroom layouts range from 698 to 947 square feet. Soaring 9-foot ceilings help smaller layouts feel open. Wood grain plank flooring in living areas is easy to sweep and wipe down, which makes shed hair and paw prints easier to clean up. Every home includes an in-home washer and dryer, handy for washing pet beds and blankets on your own schedule.

2 Bedroom Apartments in Brentwood

Need more room for a crate, a cat tree, or a dedicated supply closet? Our 2-bedroom floor plans range from 1,006 to 1,777 square feet, and some layouts include 2.5 baths. The second bedroom can serve as an office, guest room, or pet-friendly retreat, and in homes with a balcony, you and your pet get a spot for fresh air without leaving home. Compare every layout on our floor plans page.

Pet-Friendly Spots Around Brentwood

Miss Peggy's Bark Park

Located in Tower Park, Miss Peggy's Bark Park has two separately fenced areas: about 1.5 acres for dogs over 25 pounds and about 0.65 acres for smaller dogs. Both include shaded benches and water stations. Dogs should be leashed when entering and exiting, and proof of current rabies vaccination may be requested. The park is named for Peggy Howell, a longtime Brentwood community member known for her love of dogs.

A Certified Pet-Friendly City

Brentwood earned Better Cities for Pets certification in 2020 and was recertified in 2022. The program recognizes cities that support pets through parks, pet-friendly businesses, and leash laws that keep everyone safe. With 14 city parks to choose from, there is plenty of room to explore together on a leash.

Know Before You Go: Radnor Lake

Radnor Lake State Park is one of the best-known natural areas near Brentwood, but it has strict rules to protect wildlife. Pets are allowed only on the Otter Creek Road Trail, which is also the only trail at the park that allows bicycles, so plan your route before you go. It is a good reminder to check park rules before any outing with your pet.
